Only one of my students came to the tutoring session today (I normally have three) but I couldn't blame parents for not wanting to drive through snow.

My sister says "IT WASN'T THAT MUCH!" but
a) yes it was. I was in it.
and b) take a nap, grumpy annoyingpants.

Tonight, I'm decorating the Christmas tree at my parents house, eating pasta made by Mom and watching Christmas specials! ♥

As you can probably guess, I watched Hello Dolly today. And spent the rest of the day, after watching it, making screencaps & icons of Cornelius Hackl. Because I lurve him.

Don't worry. I also did my laundry and made dinner. I'm not a complete loser.

I'm attempting a new Twitter feat: only tweeting Flight of the Conchords quotes. Lyrics, dialogue from episodes, banter, etc. It's all fair play. But I think it will be fun and funny, especially because my tweets are usually just random anyway.

No one knows what I'm doooing!

I'll at least do it until I get bored. Or until I get sued.

Today started out kind of stressfully. My grandparents randomly showed up at my parents' house and made everyone do lots of this :O and quite a few of these >:O because of the rudeness of it all. But whatevs. I don't live there. I don't have to put up with it. I might stop by this weekend to say hi, but that's the extent of my seeing them. They're almost as bad as Kany--

I'm so excited about The Office - in an hour! Yay! I ♥ Andy!

My middle finger on my right hand is sort of numb feeling. :\ I don't know what could be wrong with it. I haven't been typing more than usual (and I use my left hand more than my right anyway...) so I highly doubt it's carpal tunnel. It's possible that I pinched a nerve in my neck, though. I have been sleeping on a couch in interesting ways. I don't know. It doesn't hurt so I can't really complain. It just feels... weird.

What I want to know is, why is it always my middle finger?? I sliced my left middle finger on a can of cat food not too long ago and now this!

+ Woke up early to go to the DMV and take my road skills knowledge exam for my learner's permit again. I have such horrible test anxiety that I fear I will be taking this exam for the rest of my life. Studied studied studied for a solid week beforehand and felt really prepared, only for them to tell me that the cameras weren't working so I'd have to come back. Fate either doesn't want me to ever drive or just didn't want me to take the test today for some reason... So I'll be going back next Saturday (at 8 a.m. X_X) to try to take it.

+ Went with my sister to get her car inspected. It failed the emissions test because the check engine light was on. Luckily, my sister's car is still under warranty, so we took it to the dealership to get it fixed. They told us it might take an hour or three. We gave them the keys and walked to IHOP for lunch. Then walked all the way back to our apartment... Then took three-hour naps. Still no call. So she called them. They had lost the paper they'd written her number on. Sigh. And they didn't have the part they needed. So no car till tomorrow. And we were stuck walking everywhere. So-o-o, we walked back to the dealership, got her other keys so she could drive the car at my parents' house, and walked back to our apartment. At this point, I wanted to do an angry dance. Then it started pouring down rain. Fabulous.

+ After we commandeered my parents' car (one of two), we went to Blockbuster and rented What About Bob? (funny!) and had Mexican casserole for dinner.

Today's movie title would be "Anti-Climactic" because we did all this stuff, went all over town, and nothing came of it. Except for Bill Murray and casserole.

But that's okay. There are much worse ways to waste a Thursday.

So I discovered a baby tick on me a while ago and I've been panicking about it but I looked it up and I'm fine. It was on a previous bug bite, so no bite from it. No scary bulls-eye ring thing. No sick feelings whatsoever. Whew.

The thing I'm wondering is... How the hell did I get a tick on me in the morning? The only answer I have is that it was on something in our apartment. That's scary. o_o The good thing is that, so far, that's the only one I've seen. The cats and chinchilla are fine.

WTF.

I had a dream last night that I was a Muppet superhero.

My catchphrase was "I felt your presence."

Um.

So, I'm trying this new experiment, at least until I get more money. I'm only drinking two sodas a day, mainly in the early hours to wake me up. Of course, as soon as I have more money, I'm buying more 24-can boxes of Dr. Pepper. Because this experiment that has, so far, lasted two days, is showing that I'm clearly addicted and, since DP is not going to kill me or put me in any danger... I don't mind being an addict. :P

In fact, I put people in danger when I haven't had enough caffeine. I don't get bitchy or anything, but I get ridiculously silly-tired, and I can't be held responsible for dropped things or accidentally going outside with no pants on if I'm not properly caffeinated.

So there.

A good example is, just now, I was on MySpace and saw an ad that said "How smart are you?" and I exclaimed "I'm a genius!!" then completely lost it laughing for five minutes.

Yeeeah.

My arms feel really long, too... And I have to critique a paper now. This should be interesting.
